GoldSeal Service Agreement . This GoldSeal Service Agreement offered by ATK North America is coextensive to the ATK North America Standard Limited Warranty on Remanufactured Engines. The GoldSeal Service Agreement is not a warranty itself, nor does it waive or modify any exclusions or limitations in the ATK North America Standard Warranty, except as specifically stated in this GoldSeal Service Agreement.
TERM: The term of this GoldSeal Service Agreement is coextensive with the term of the ATK North America Standard Warranty that covers the particular engine to which this GoldSeal Service Agreement applies. The term begins on the date of the original engine’s installation. If the GSA is not purchased from ATK at the time of the original engine sale or within 3 days of the original sale, refer to the effective date on your GoldSeal Service Agreement.
LABOR PAYMENTS: ATK North America approved repairs will be compensated at a rate not to exceed the Mitchell, Motor or Chilton Repair Manual published flat rate schedule. Under this GoldSeal Service Agreement, hourly rates for all approved labor claims performed by licensed repair facilities will be paid at their posted labor rate, not to exceed $85 per flat rate hour.
MARINE: Under this GoldSeal Service Agreement, the maximum compensation for all approved repairs on Marine applications is $700. DIY: Under this GoldSeal Service Agreement, hourly rates for all approved labor claims for do-it-yourself repairs, and repairs performed by unlicensed repair facilities, will be paid at a rate not to exceed $30 per hour, and not to exceed the Mitchell, Motor or Chilton Repair Manual published flat rate schedule.
TOWING: Towing will be reimbursed up to a maximum of $100 per occurrence. (Customer to supply copy of towing invoice/contract.)
RENTAL: Car rental will be reimbursed up to a maximum of $30 per day, up to 5 days. (Customer to supply copy of rental contract.)
FLUIDS: Fluid replacement at the time of warranty repair will be reimbursed up to $25.00.
EXCLUSIONS: This GOLDSEAL SERVICE AGREEMENT is subject to all exclusions specified in the ATK North America Standard Warranty. No claims will be allowed under this GOLDSEAL SERVICE AGREEMENT that are disallowed under the Standard Warranty.
INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE: A. ATK North America’s recommended installation procedure must be followed. B. Maintenance must conform to the original equipment manufacturer standards. You may be required to furnish proof of these services when making a claim.
CLAIM PROCEDURE: A. If the vehicle needs repair, you must contact ATK North America prior to starting the work. You must bring the vehicle, at your expense, to the repair shop where the original ATK North America unit was installed or to another licensed repair facility. Payment will not be made for any unauthorized repairs and/or replacements. When calling, have your ATK engine serial number (located on the back of this certificate) ready.
TRANSFERABILITY: A. This GOLDSEAL SERVICE AGREEMENT may be assigned or transferred by sending your owner’s name, address, the serial number of your engine, Vehicle Identification Number and $55 to process the transfer.
GENERAL: A. This is an integrated agreement, which may not be altered without the express written consent of ATK North America. B. If ATK North America elects to replace your unit with another remanufactured unit, the replacement is considered to be a repair of the original unit. Replacement of a component, or the entire engine, does not extend the Standard Warranty or the GOLDSEAL SERVICE AGREEMENT above or beyond the original date of installation or mileage. C.
